About the role

Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts for quality, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to specifications; maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Operate hand and power tools safely and in compliance with shop standards; maintain and perform basic upkeep on welding and fabrication equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members on project requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of welding/fabrication experience OR completion of an accredited welding trade program with demonstrated hands-on proficiency.
Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds across varying material types and thicknesses.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Working knowledge of metal and fabrication techniques, including experience with hand tools, power tools, and common shop machinery.
Strong self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as a contributing team member in a fast-paced startup environment, maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Applicants must be eligible to obtain any required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

AWS certification or equivalent welding qualification.
Experience in a defense, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing environment.
Travel, Physical and Government Mandated Requirements
Minimal travel expected
Ability to lift, move, or carry items or equipment up to 75 pounds.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces in a shop environment with exposure to heat, noise, and fumes
use of personal protective equipment (welding helmet, gloves, protective clothing) required for extended periods.
The good faith hourly range for this role is $25-$33 / hour at the time of this posting.
