About the role

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our growing team.
You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and researchers to translate complex technical workflows into elegant, efficient interfaces.
This is a remote-friendly role with a preference for candidates located near one of our offices for in-person collaboration, meetings, and events.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, visually compelling, and user-friendly digital experiences that support the operation, monitoring, and management of our robotic systems.
Lead the end-to-end design process for robot and web based UI: e.g. create wireframes, prototypes, and final UI assets ready for implementation by our development team
Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across platforms.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align design solutions with technical feasibility and business needs.
Stay current with UX/UI best practices and emerging design trends.
3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across web or software applications.
Knowledge of front-end development basics (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for better design-engineering collaboration

Robotics experience is helpful but not required-what matters most is your ability to simplify complexity, advocate for the user, and bring a strong design perspective to multidisciplinary collaboration.
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field-or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Experience with prototyping and usability testing.

Improve the UX/UI of features implemented by our development teams
Assist our HRI/UX Researcher in conducting user research and usability testing, and then iterate based on feedback.
Experience designing complex systems, dashboards, or technical tools for enterprise software.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
