About the role

  • This role assists in the intake, review, documentation, tracking, and coordination of escalated issues impacting claims processing, reimbursement timelines, and provider experience.
  • Working under the guidance of senior team members, the Analyst helps ensure issues are accurately reviewed, documented, routed appropriately, and resolved within established timelines.
  • This position plays an important role in maintaining workflow consistency, supporting data tracking, and contributing to overall operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support intake and tracking of provider-related issues submitted through Salesforce and other interdepartmental platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records and status updates within tracking systems
  • Support senior team members in root cause identification and resolution activities
  • Maintain logs of issues, turnaround times, and resolution outcomes
  • Support reporting on key metrics such as backlog, aging, and resolution timelines
  • Issue Resolution Support

  • Stakeholder Support
  • Support coordination across teams including claims, provider relations, and operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree with 3 years project management experience OR Technical Certification or College Courses with 4 years project management experience OR 8 years of project management experience.
  • Experience with Project Management Methodologies (i.e. Project Management Institute - PMBOK).
  • Knowledge of project financial tracking including monitoring and reporting on budget expenditures.
  • Experience in negotiations, influence others and managing conflicts.
  • Experience balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, Project and Lotus Notes
  • Experience with Lotus Notes.
  • Bachelor Degree with 4 years project management experience OR PMP Certification or College Courses with 5 years project management experience OR 8 years project management experience.
  • Familiarity and experience with Project Management Methodologies and demonstrable experience in project delivery and management of large and/or complex projects.
  • Experience in coaching and development
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, as well as meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills; agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to create integrated, milestone-driven critical path project plans.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to influence (direct / indirect reports, project stakeholders, and leaders), and manage in a matrix organization.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification
  • Human Resource acumen and HCSC experience
  • Comfort/poise with senior management

Nice to have

  • Exposure to revenue cycle management (RCM) or provider issue resolution
  • Experience with systems such as Salesforce or claims platforms (e.g., Facets)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork
