Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various environmental conditions.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • EPA Certified
  • 7 to 10 years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC service experience (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Building controls - ATC Temperature Electronic and Pneumatic controls..

  • The physical demands of the position include frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing, standing, walking, reaching, and gripping.
  • Material handling demands include lifting from floor level to overhead.

Nice to have

  • Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring and piping diagrams, or engineering specifications, to Install, diagnose and repair units.
  • Operates refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging equipment and service gauges.
  • Possess excellent troubleshooting skills to component level.
  • Inspects system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Completion of routine maintenance and operation of HVAC systems and any other related equipment, which contributes to the safe and effective operation of facilities.
  • Records temperature, pressure, and other readings on log sheet at specified intervals.
  • May be required to work varying schedules and shifts to reflect the business needs of the Company.
  • Knowledge of VAV/VVT HVAC systems experience preferred.
