- Position Overview The Party Floor Team member is a crucial frontline staff member responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment in the convention's official party floor.
Responsibilities
- Staff and maintain the ASC Hydration Room, greeting attendees, monitoring guest safety, and ensuring water stations and supplies stay well-stocked and accessible throughout your shift
- Serve as a friendly and helpful resource for party hosts, answering logistical questions, tracking trash collection needs, and helping them maintain a safe space for their guests
- Prior experience in hospitality, event safety, event staffing, retail, or a front-facing customer support role
Requirements
- The ability to "think on your feet" when encountering a rowdy room or a supply shortage, remaining completely calm, helpful, and professional under pressure
Skills
- All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent de-escalation skills to handle late-night rule enforcement or policy reminders with absolute tact and composure
