About the role

Provide directions to staff and subconsultants
Proactively supporting clients and anticipating project needs
Provide guidance to PMs on strengthening client relationships and how to forge new, strategic business relationships

Act as the main point of contact on projects working with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and support staff
Manage major transportation engineering projects on behalf of the Owner's Engineer Team or Design Team.
Provide technical leadership and direction to junior and intermediate staff on Owner's Engineer Team or Design Teams.
Develop win strategies specific to pursuits
Develop project schedules and coordinating resources
Oversee the correct implementation of our quantity management system and application of design standards for engineering work.
Experience leading design or other technical teams in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects

A minimum of 10+ years of related technical experience in transportation engineering or project management in a civil engineering environment
Experience with the design, procurement, construction and closeout phases of alternate delivery projects (Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, Alliance, etc)
Extensive experience in client management in a professional consulting environment, including resolving conflict with internal and external stakeholders
Positive attitude and dependable with the ability to work cooperatively and productively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Proven conflict resolution capabilities
Strong communication and time management skills and ability to work concurrently on several different projects

This is a full-time position based out of our Burnaby Office, located near scenic Deer Lake.
Our recent projects include the Patullo Bridge Replacement Project, Fraser River Tunnel Project, and Steveston Interchange Project.

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $117,895 - $169,000 annually.
