Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing crop insurance agents to retain and grow profitable business.
  • Deliver established training programs to agents and peers and provide feedback to the Training team on development needs.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic marketing plans and forecasts aligned to product and growth objectives.
  • Review agent performance and results, and recommend or implement corrective actions as needed, including agreement changes or agency appointment cancellations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners (e.g., grower/commodity groups, trade associations, legislators) to support retention and profitable growth.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to agents and internal partners by helping interpret Federal Crop Insurance Program regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to perform sales job responsibilities face to face.

Requirements

  • Collect and track required agent/agency compliance documentation.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required

Nice to have

  • Preferred 4 years of agriculture and crop insurance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture or business-related field preferred

  • AgriSompo North America has major offices in Lenexa, Kansas and Des Moines, Iowa as well as regional offices around the country.

Compensation

  • $65,000- $90,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.

  • Our compensation program is built on a foundation that promotes a pay-for-performance culture, resulting in higher incentive awards, on average, when the Company does well and lower incentive awards when the Company underperforms.
  • The total compensation opportunity for all regular, full-time employees is a combination of base salary and incentives that gets adjusted upfront based on overall Company performance with final awards based on individual performance.
