About the role
- With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
- But, this is not to be seen as a traditional press office role of taking a playbook from one company and adopting it in its entirety at Replit.
- This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of experience in communications, PR, media, corporate affairs, or related fields for Director level
- 15+ years for VP level.
- Proven experience working directly with founders, CEOs, executives, and senior cross-functional leaders.
- Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional communications programs on a global level
- Strong understanding of the AI landscape and how AI is changing software development, enterprise productivity, and the future of work.
- Experience across several communications disciplines, including external communications, internal communications, media relations, executive communications, crisis communications, and strategic messaging.
- Ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear, compelling stories without losing substance.
- Ability to see the big picture while operating in execution mode.
