Responsibilities

- The Opportunity dcbel is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Test Software Engineer to develop, implement, and continually improve an exhaustive manufacturing test strategy for our product line.
- The successful candidate will interface with hardware, software, and firmware engineering teams to solve problems, improve designs, and ensure that production equipment meets stringent time and quality demands.
- Design, validate, implement & automate high quality testing solutions for home energy stations, involving electronics, power, and electrical safety.
- Provide high-reactivity support to production to resolve test equipment/script failures; collaborate with manufacturing/quality engineers on resolving complex production issues.
- Develop, debug, implement and support test scripts to automate production functional tests.
- Hands-on skills to design, build, and bring up test benches is an asset.
- Experience in developing test sequences and software tools like NI TestStand.
- Experience implementing automated tests, developing UI, and integrating hardware components.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate must display creativity, rigor, resourcefulness, as well as excellent organizational skills.
- Establish production testing specifications for feasibility and scalability; hold periodic test review meetings with project teams and create required documents and test reports.
- Degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, or relevant field.
- Experience with coding in LabVIEW, Python, and C/C++.
- Experience with DAQ (data acquisition systems), Signal Processing, and instrumentation.
Skills
- Integrate data acquisition/dashboarding/test commands with dcbel tools and databases.

Visa & Work Authorization
