About the role

  • Assess business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards (8%).
  • Apply Agile Methodology daily and follow Definition of Done (DOD) process for better quality by maintaining 80% of unit test coverage and 70% integration overage (8%).
  • Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impacts (10%).

Responsibilities

  • Design, and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software systems throughout all phases of the software development process (16%).
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to established coding standards and best practices (8%).
  • Actively participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to design principles and quality guidelines (8%).
  • Proactively identify and address technical debt to maintain a healthy codebase & systems (10%).
  • Interface and collaborate with project management, engineering leadership, release management, and the teams across geographically distributed development centers to deliver quality product features within a given schedule (8%).

Requirements

  • Must also have experience in the following:
  • 5 years of professional experience utilizing HTTP, XML, and JSON
  • 4 years of professional experience utilizing Agile Development Methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)
  • 3 years of professional experience assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards
  • 3 years of professional experience utilizing unit testing and mocking frameworks to ensure code quality and maintainability
  • 3 years of professional experience utilizing AWS Cloud Services including EC2, S3, EKS, and API Gateway
  • 3 years of professional experience utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Kafka, SOAP & RESTful web services

Compensation

  • The on-target earnings range is $163,550 - $242,614 per year. per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
