About the role
- The Housekeeping Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, order, and presentation standards across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily housekeeping operations, managing team assignments and productivity expectations.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, and F&B to manage guest requests and room status updates.
- Support VIP and special guest room preparation and follow-up service.
- Maintain lost & found documentation and property-wide cleanliness inspections.
- Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities and lead by example in delivering guest service recovery.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of NYC DOH and OSHA compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience in union environments preferred.
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Hospitality degree preferred.

- High attention to detail and service presentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Effective communication and time management.
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
- Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift
Compensation
- This position has an annual compensation of $85,000 per year.
