About the role

  • LawDepot is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Technical Editor in Edmonton, Alberta.
  • As a part of our UX Optimization team, you will play a hands-on role in migrating and implementing interactive web products used by more than 25 million people annually.
  • From shaping questionnaire content to publishing updates through our Content Management System (CMS) tools, you will ensure our products are engaging, high quality, and easy to use.

Responsibilities

  • Support the migration of legacy files into a new internal platform and contribute to ongoing system improvements
  • Implement high-quality products using in-house tools in alignment with defined acceptance criteria
  • Support colleagues by assisting with product launches, publishing updates, and setting up or taking down experiments
  • Collaborate with our Legal, Research, Design, Development, and QA departments to deliver products that are both user-friendly and legally sound
  • Conduct peer reviews to maintain quality and consistency across products

Requirements

  • Ability to learn, utilize, and troubleshoot various types of CMS platforms
  • Strong logical thinking skills, with the ability to apply structured reasoning within systems and tools
  • Ability to identify opportunities and suggest new ideas
  • Ability to identify and prioritize high-impact business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to accelerate workflows, troubleshoot problems, and improve quality of outputs, while maintaining strong independent judgment
  • Experience with coding, web design, or software development knowledge would be an asset
