About the role
- Continue is seeking an intense and fast-learning engineer to help us build our open-source product, starting by resolving and learning about user problems on GitHub and Discord. In this role, you will shape our open-source IDE extensions by designing, building, and maintaining a product loved by many, including yourself.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement new affordances for coding with LLMs as new model capabilities emerge
- Rapidly experiment and design benchmarks to improve autocomplete and codebase retrieval
- In this role, you will shape our open-source IDE extensions by designing, building, and maintaining a product loved by many, including yourself.
Requirements
- You are proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, and React / Next.js
- You are a rigorous thinker capable of tackling difficult algorithmic problems
