About the role
- Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner, assigning tasks, making sure carpentry jobs are completed in due time and ensure work is performed according to Swinerton standards.
- Discipline, mentor and monitor performance of employees.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry in the alteration and construction of buildings, cabinets, and specialty wood items.
- Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed.
- Track production rates of self-perform
- Develops work schedules and crew assignments
- Develop and manage JHA's, ensure crews are working safely and properly trained
- Maintains records of operations
- Coordinate and maintain crew safety, equipment and tool training
Requirements
- Must hold a current Journeyman Carpenter license/certificate (if required by the applicable state, city or county)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman carpenter or similar role
- Considerable knowledge of: rough and finish carpentry
