- As an Avionics Technician IV, you will supervise avionics maintenance teams and oversee the most complex diagnostics and repairs.
- You will ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
- Maintain high standards of safety and work quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Expertise in avionics systems and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications
- ability to route wires per technical drawings.
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- Associate's degree in Avionics, Electronics, or a related field.
- Leadership experience in a maintenance environment.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with FCC and FCC General Radio Operator License (GROL).
- Ability to mentor and guide subordinates.
- Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope, and/or Pitot static equipment.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
