Responsibilities
- Work closely with members of Mitacs Business Development, Research, and Programs teams to deliver high‐quality programming
- Speak with industry partners of Montréal corridor to determine their R&D needs, connect them with specialists in academia, and advise them on the best programs to leverage the research opportunities uncovered
- Create and maintain a network of partners and clients in industry and academia
- Provide support to the Business Development team as needed
- Provide business development support to all Mitacs programs as needed
- Provide business development and student engagement support
Skills
- MSc or PhD, or an equivalent combination of education and research experience, preferably from Université du Québec à Montréal
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Highly energetic and enthusiastic mindset
- Ability to adapt to priority changes
- Ability to think creatively and try new things
- Desire to pursue a career outside of research and academia
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance culture
