About the role

QuEra is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Co-op to join our team and play a meaningful role in how our products are built and documented.
We are searching for someone to join us from August/September through December.

Create BOMs and product structure for existing modules and assemblies
Using existing documentation and product samples, write clear, accurate assembly procedures for use by contract manufacturing partners
Technology transfer of existing and new designs to contract manufacturers
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical and optical engineering teams, operations engineering, and supply chain team to ensure all requirements for outsourcing production are met

Currently enrolled in a degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with product structures and bill of materials (BOM) management
The ideal candidate is bright, curious, and eager to learn from the team and environment around them.
You'll be embedded in a collaborative environment where precision, attention to detail, and the ability to absorb knowledge quickly are valued above all else.

Prior co-op or internship experience preferred
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks strongly preferred)
Experience with PDM/PLM software (SolidWorks PDM, Agile/Arena/Omnify/Aras PLM, or similar) is a strong plus

Hourly Rate for this position is $28-$35
