About the role

  • Reports to the Associate Head Athletic Trainer.
  • Adheres to NCAA and Big 12 rules and regulations, as well as to the policies of the department, the University, and the AZ Board of Regents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field
  • Evidence of a Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Two (2) years' experience working with a D1 athletics program, which includes one (1) year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer REQUIRED.
  • Experience providing prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injured student athletes in the sport of Men's or Women's Cross Country and/or Track and Field.
  • NATA certification and CPR certification are required. Must be a licensee in good standing with the Arizona Board of Athletic Training, within 120 days of hire.
  • Experience with advanced manual therapy techniques such as Graston, ASTYM, MFD, or ART.
  • Experience with supervision of other professionals.
  • Evidence of effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of athletic training procedures, practices and techniques.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of good management and sport team supervisory policies and procedures.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Compensation

  • $52,000 to $65,000 annually; DOE
  • $65,000.00 USD Annual
