About the role

Reports to the Associate Head Athletic Trainer.
Adheres to NCAA and Big 12 rules and regulations, as well as to the policies of the department, the University, and the AZ Board of Regents.

Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field
Evidence of a Master's Degree in a related field.
Two (2) years' experience working with a D1 athletics program, which includes one (1) year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer REQUIRED.
Experience providing prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injured student athletes in the sport of Men's or Women's Cross Country and/or Track and Field.
NATA certification and CPR certification are required. Must be a licensee in good standing with the Arizona Board of Athletic Training, within 120 days of hire.
Experience with advanced manual therapy techniques such as Graston, ASTYM, MFD, or ART.
Experience with supervision of other professionals.
Evidence of effective communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of athletic training procedures, practices and techniques.
Demonstrated knowledge of good management and sport team supervisory policies and procedures.
Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
