About the role
- We're rebuilding Slack from the ground up around two core ideas: durable memory and agents as first-class participants.
- People need to want to spend hours of their working lives in Ando, and then convince their teammates and friends to do the same.
Responsibilities
- Do a lot of reference-gathering, contribute to the buildout of our core UI / UX, mature our design system, write code, use the latest and best in design tooling, and most importantly, dogfood our product every day
- Review user analytics and observe what users do, vs just what they say. Then iterate quickly on designs
- minimal, unobtrusive product design that lets us focus on the layers on top, such as the rhythm of messaging, sounds, etc.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio, with experience designing around LLM quirks and functionality
- Recent experience coding with agents
- Bonus points if you love prompt engineering
Skills
- At the same time, Ando has to feel faster, lighter, and more delightful than the tools people use today.
