About the role

  • Overview Symbria has an outstanding opportunity for a customer-service-focused Staffing Coordinator to add to our growing Symbria Rehab Team in Ohio.
  • This role involves staffing existing full-time, part-time, and PRN therapy employees across multiple northern Illinois communities to ensure adequate coverage based on need.
  • The Staffing Coordinator role is an Operational role, not a Human Resources role.

Responsibilities

  • review schedules, invoices, and maintain files with current licensure documentation for contract therapists.
  • Manage the schedule and placement of regional float therapists.
  • Lead morning staffing calls and handle ad hoc calls and emails related to staffing needs.
  • Support the new hire onboarding process within the region, acting as liaison between HR and rehab operations for all regional hires.

  • Maintain Therapist Placement Database, Weekly Schedule Log, Paid Time Off schedule, sick/cancellation calls and coordinate coverage with community Program Managers.
  • Qualifications preferred Staffing or recruiting experience in a client-oriented, healthcare role; minimum one year.
