About the role

We focus on driving active spend and usage, increasing reliability and availability, and delivering seamless, trusted experiences across cards, credit, money movement, deals, and transaction intelligence.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $199,000 and up to $275,000.
The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Chime is looking for an engineering leader to help manage and guide one of the Spending, Saving & Investing technology teams.
Build, lead and hire a high-calibre team of software engineers to solve these problems while being hands on.
Ensure that technical decisions support our bar for quality and performance, but also map to our company and organization level priorities.
Design, develop, test, and scale new and existing consumer product features.
Interest in pushing the technology, people, and organization envelope to explore new ways we can deliver amazement to our customers.

To thrive in this role, you have
Experience with similar tech: Ruby, React Native, Distributed Systems, AWS services (data, compute) and Service Oriented Architectures.
The ability to motivate a team through delivery on aggressive schedules and goals.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $199,000 and up to $275,000.
