About the role

  • You will work collaboratively alongside the company's senior strategy team members supporting strategic planning, market insights, quantitative analysis, and financial modeling activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic planning process - i.e., analyze industry trends, the competitive landscape, organic/inorganic growth opportunities, etc.
  • Collaborate with other members of the strategy team on individual and group projects
  • Collaborate with interns and staff from other departments such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product Management, and the Chief Technology Office

Requirements

  • Motorola Solutions offers a comprehensive, 12-week full-time paid internship program designed to offer hands-on experience with real problems that need real solutions.

Nice to have

  • Currently seeking a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related major
  • Ability to identify correlation and causation and draw insights among multiple factors
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills
  • Experience with statistical analysis and financial modeling
  • Ability to structure complex problems in simple, easy-to-understand ways
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Comfort with fast-paced and rapidly evolving environments
