About the role

This role serves as both an editorial leader and cultural authority, helping Weedmaps become one of the most trusted and culturally relevant voices in cannabis.
Define and evolve the Weedmaps editorial voice and storytelling strategy.
Establish editorial standards across all content channels.

Build recurring editorial franchises and scalable content systems.
Partner with Creative and Social teams to shape campaign narratives.
Manage relationships with freelance writers, contributors, and editorial partners.
Support strategic planning through audience and cultural insight.
Lead and develop the editorial organization.
Manage freelance and contributor relationships.

8+ years of experience in editorial leadership, journalism, publishing, or content strategy.

The base pay range for this position is $142,625 - $160,249 per year, and a competitive bonus

Up to 80% coverage for dependents
