About the role
- The position is located in the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Personnel Security and Suitability, Investigations Division (DS/PSS/INV).
- The incumbent analyzes personnel security investigative information applying national adjudicative criteria and grants interim security clearances, public trust determinations, and final security clearances.
Requirements
- Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
- Experience evaluating investigations for compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Experience conducting personnel security and suitability adjudications.
- Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
