Responsibilities

  • Create and evangelize field facing product marketing collateral across CloudVision technologies, including white papers, slide decks, websites, demos, videos, etc.
  • Collaborate on product definition through customer requirement gathering and roadmap planning
  • Hands-on projects to develop labs as well as demonstrate key technologies
  • Represent Arista at external events, including conferences, tradeshows, partner engagements, etc.
  • Network design level expertise in the following use-cases: private and public cloud data centers, service provider data center, Internet routing, IP storage, financial networks, high-performance computing (HPC), enterprise networks
  • Ability to build extensive technical slide decks in PowerPoint, with technical accuracy, strategy, and clear messaging

Requirements

  • Network management platforms for enterprise users, UI/UX user experience workflows, automation techniques, DevOps platforms (Ansible, etc), APIs (JSON, gRPC etc.), scripting (Python, etc.).
  • At least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Bachelor degree required
  • 10-12 years of experience in the networking industry
  • Expert knowledge on or more of the following enterprise use-cases is required: Data Center, Cloud, Campus/Branch.

Nice to have

  • network management and operations, data center trends and technologies, network orchestration and automation systems, network platform offerings and solutions from industry vendors.
  • Routing, switching, VxLAN/MPLS/network virtualization knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, Multicast, Protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, IGMP
  • Knowledge of SaaS application offerings, including public cloud platforms and associated networking environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
  • General knowledge is preferred in the following areas: Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, Multicast, Protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, IGMP

Compensation

  • The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $142,000 to $193,000.
  • The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity.
