About the role
- The Associate Campus Pastor will assist in providing leadership to carry out Evangel's vision for the Evangel Dickinson Campus alongside the Campus Pastor.
- This individual will focus on pastoral ministry, discipleship, and connection while assisting in helping people take next steps in their faith journey.
- This role will provide pastoral care to attenders, facilitate ministry environments, and assist in creating intentional connection points for the Dickinson Campus.
Responsibilities
- Main point of contact and support for men's leaders, help implement men's ministry strategy, and recruit and lead excursion leaders.
- Own the follow-up process post Heart & Soul by providing accountability, helping onboard new Dream Team members, and facilitating necessary follow-up conversations.
- Own the ideation and implementation of City Reach at the Dickinson Campus, translating opportunities from Bismarck while identifying outreach opportunities unique to Dickinson.
Requirements
- Pastoral Degree, certification, or experience
- Thinks strategically about the church as a whole
- Able to execute overall church vision to campus
- Able to steward opportunities, resources, talent and budget
- Able to communicate and collaborate effectively across the organization
- Ability to manage direct reports effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to a variety of audiences
- Professionalism and poise when interacting with external contacts
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong people skills
- Highly skilled in the use of Google Workspace
