Responsibilities
- Prepare site layouts and designs in support of municipal infrastructure projects.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
- EIT Certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications used in civil engineering, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Excellent computer, technical writing, communication, and customer service skills.
- Eagerness to grow beyond core engineering responsibilities and develop expertise in project management.
- Valid Drivers license.
Nice to have
- 2-4 years of engineering experience.
- EIT certification with the ability and intent to obtain PE licensure.

- Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.
- The wage range for this position depends on experience and placement into a Civil Engineer I - Civil Engineer IV title.

- US Pay Range
- $35 - $50 USD
- Additionally, employees receive paid vacation and sick time, 11 paid holidays, and are able to participate in employee ownership options.
- MacKay pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual performance bonuses.
- Employment requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
