About the role
- You will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, and providing routine maintenance for customer's equipment.
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities: Inspecting trucks, loaders, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance.
- Diagnosing faults using manual and computerized testing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Applicants will need to be able to inspect, service, and maintain a wide range of medium and heavy-duty construction equipment.
Requirements
- Utilize knowledge of HVAC/R systems and hydraulics to diagnose issues accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy parts.
- Knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
- Ability to work after-hours if required.
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
Nice to have
- Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic a plus.
