Requirements

  • Relevant Master's Degree.
  • Or, relevant Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience.
  • Intermediate abilities and knowledge of practices and techniques.
  • Beginning experience in project management.
  • Or, relevant Master's Degree and 3 or more years of experience.
  • Or, relevant Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience.
  • General knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of projects.
  • Additional Required Qualifications
  • Must have a MS in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or related fields.

Nice to have

  • Proven records of research experience related to power systems and power system optimization

  • The candidate will work on research projects that use ML/AI to solve power system problems, specially with the focus on Large Language Models (LLM).
  • Ideal candidate is expected to have in-depth knowledge and extensive research experience related to LLM and agentic AI.
  • solid programming skillset and software development experience.
  • Knowledge and experience about power systems is a plus.

Compensation

  • $76,600 - $126,400
  • Job Profile: Researcher III / Annual
  • $83,600 - $150,500
  • NLR takes into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
