About the role

As a Software Engineer on the Pipedream team, you will help expand the core capabilities of Pipedream Connect and its growing catalog of connectors to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers.
You will work across a diverse and modern technology stack - including Go, Node.js, Rust, Rails, Kotlin, SQL, Redis, and Kubernetes - and have the opportunity to continuously pick up and learn new technologies along the way.

Requirements

5+ years of related software development experience
2+ years of experience developing REST/GraphQL APIs with a common web application framework (e.g., Rails, Node.js/Express)
Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with key-value data stores (e.g., Redis, Valkey)
Experience with techniques for scaling high-volume APIs
Experienced in code testing methodologies such as unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, with the ability to use testing tools and frameworks to ensure software quality before deployment
We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role).

Nice to have

Experience with JVM languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin), Go, and/or Rust is a plus

Compensation

$148,000 USD - $222,000 USD
$123,900 USD - $222,000 USD
