About the role

  • As a Software Engineer on the Pipedream team, you will help expand the core capabilities of Pipedream Connect and its growing catalog of connectors to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers.
  • You will work across a diverse and modern technology stack - including Go, Node.js, Rust, Rails, Kotlin, SQL, Redis, and Kubernetes - and have the opportunity to continuously pick up and learn new technologies along the way.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience developing REST/GraphQL APIs with a common web application framework (e.g., Rails, Node.js/Express)
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with key-value data stores (e.g., Redis, Valkey)
  • Experience with techniques for scaling high-volume APIs
  • Experienced in code testing methodologies such as unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, with the ability to use testing tools and frameworks to ensure software quality before deployment
  • We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role).

Nice to have

  • Experience with JVM languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin), Go, and/or Rust is a plus

Compensation

  • $148,000 USD - $222,000 USD
  • $123,900 USD - $222,000 USD
