About the role
- Coordinate and monitor the procurement of materials, production schedules, and shipments of sales orders including directing the deliveries of materials and releases of orders to Manufacturing and maintaining proper inventory and costs throughout the order.
- Oversee the progress of orders from release until shipment.
- Based on the MPS driven demand, selects and sequences available jobs to be run at specific workstations or machines
Responsibilities
- Maintain manufacturing build plans on a daily basis
- Maintain the run and set up times associated with each job / product / part
- Drive consistent communications between planning, project accounting, and project management for consistent project Material EAC's and execution charts
- Attend design review meetings and production meetings to provide all departments with material status and shipping schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, technical related discipline or equivalent
- 1-3 Years of experience in production planning and/or master scheduling
- Working knowledge of ERP system, preferably Deltek
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, procedures, routings, QC and government procedures, military specs, and computer reports.
