About the role
- The Shift Nurse is responsible for assisting and supporting residents through the entire treatment experience from admission through discharge.
- The Shift Nurse is responsible for communicating observations and insights to the treatment team (i.e. therapists, dietitian, psychiatrist, pediatrician and facility administrator) to ensure the team is comprehensively addressing each client's issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental rounds on unit for safety, and document observations.
- Implement crisis management skills as directed by licensed staff.
- Developing and initiating the Nursing Care Plan
Nice to have
- Completion of CPR.
- Preferred CARN certification (Certified Addiction Registered Nurse).
Compensation
- Competitive hourly or salaried compensation which is negotiated individually with each applicant. $2 Shift differential for night hours.
