About the role
- Account Executive, Corporate 5W Public Relations is seeking an Account Executive to join our Corporate practice.
- The ideal individual will have worked with Corporate or B2B-focused clients within an agency setting, is an expert at pitching, and possesses superior account and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage team workflow and take ownership of account work while driving consistent media results.
- Create and develop media materials - press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies, etc.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prominent members of the media in order to ensure placements
- Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall PR strategy
- Execute and advise on PR strategies and collaboratively develop strategic media plans
- Create and develop pro-active pitch ideas for clients based on industry, current trends and various announcements
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients
- Professional Development Support
Nice to have
- B.S/B.A in Public Relations or related field
- 2-3 years of PR agency experience, preferred in the corporate space
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and motivation skills
- Proven client relations and supervisory skills
- Creative and energetic personality
