About the role
- Provide physician leadership and oversight for all clinical programs within the Institute.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, equitable, and patient-centered care delivery.
- Foster collaboration among physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Responsibilities
- Partners with institutional leaders to drive growth, quality, physician engagement, and philanthropic opportunities.
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical pathways, standards of care, and best practices.
- Support the development of multidisciplinary care models that improve patient outcomes and access.
- Collaborate with faculty investigators to expand research opportunities and external funding.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain outstanding clinical faculty and staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development initiatives.
- Develop partnerships with community organizations, employers, and advocacy groups.
- Collaborate with administrative leadership to achieve financial sustainability and operational excellence.
- Support initiatives that improve efficiency, patient access, and care coordination.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Certification and Licensing:
- Active Florida MD or DO license with board certification in a recognized medical specialty, except for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Skills
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
- Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
- Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
- Provides strategic and clinical leadership for the Institute's multidisciplinary women's health initiatives.
- Advances integrated care models that improve outcomes, access, and patient experience across the continuum of women's healthcare.
- Champions research, innovation, education, and program development to establish national leadership in women's health.
- Serves as a key spokesperson and thought leader for the Institute at the local, national, and international levels.
