About the role

  • The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team.
  • This role ensures instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly to promote safe, efficient patient care.

Requirements

  • Weekend and call rotation will be required
  • Must have an understanding of the physical and emotional stresses that occur with illness and disease and be able to work with individuals under these stresses
  • Must have the ability to motivate people and create a positive work environment.
  • Must display a high degree of emotional maturity while keeping difficult situations in proper perspective.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in surgical care services with knowledge of aseptic principles preferred.
