About the role

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team.
This role ensures instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly to promote safe, efficient patient care.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Weekend and call rotation will be required
Must have an understanding of the physical and emotional stresses that occur with illness and disease and be able to work with individuals under these stresses
Must have the ability to motivate people and create a positive work environment.
Must display a high degree of emotional maturity while keeping difficult situations in proper perspective.

Previous experience in surgical care services with knowledge of aseptic principles preferred.

Must be able to deal with multiple priorities calmly.
Good organizational skills.
Good time management skills, can prioritize.

Able to work independently.
Able to work with all types of people.
