About the role

  • As the Sample Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the movement, organization, and tracking of product samples while supporting the Product Development and Production teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • You'll gain hands-on exposure to the full product development process while working alongside an experienced team.
  • Please note this position is based in our Vancouver office and requires on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound sample shipments between vendors, factories, warehouses, showrooms, head office, and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate sample inventory, shipment records, and tracking systems.
  • Organize, label, store, and maintain seasonal samples in the office and showroom.
  • Product Development Support:
  • Support the Product Development team throughout seasonal development and production across knitwear, t-shirts, fleece, hoodies, and other apparel categories.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in apparel product development, production, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating product samples, inventory, or apparel shipments.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with international vendors or factories is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift and move sample boxes up to 30 lbs. as required.
  • Support seasonal sample audits, inventory reconciliation, office/storage room organization, and additional cross-functional projects as required.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Basic understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and apparel manufacturing processes.

Nice to have

  • Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience updating Tech Packs, working in PLM systems (Centric preferred), or using Adobe Illustrator is considered an asset.
