About the role
- As the Sample Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the movement, organization, and tracking of product samples while supporting the Product Development and Production teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- You'll gain hands-on exposure to the full product development process while working alongside an experienced team.
- Please note this position is based in our Vancouver office and requires on-site attendance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound sample shipments between vendors, factories, warehouses, showrooms, head office, and external partners.
- Maintain accurate sample inventory, shipment records, and tracking systems.
- Organize, label, store, and maintain seasonal samples in the office and showroom.
- Product Development Support:
- Support the Product Development team throughout seasonal development and production across knitwear, t-shirts, fleece, hoodies, and other apparel categories.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in apparel product development, production, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating product samples, inventory, or apparel shipments.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with international vendors or factories is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift and move sample boxes up to 30 lbs. as required.
- Support seasonal sample audits, inventory reconciliation, office/storage room organization, and additional cross-functional projects as required.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and apparel manufacturing processes.
Nice to have
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience updating Tech Packs, working in PLM systems (Centric preferred), or using Adobe Illustrator is considered an asset.
