About the role

  • Job Description Job Description EBAD seeks a qualified candidate for the position CNC Swiss Machinist, reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor.
  • The position is located in Moorpark, CA.
  • The CNC Swiss Machinist is responsible for fabricating precision-machined parts by setting up and operating a Swiss style CNC machining center per work orders, routers, & blueprints.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in CNC operation with setup experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating a Swiss style machining center.
  • General knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading and inspection tools
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal fashion.
  • Must be able to meet all ITAR and BATFE background requirements
  • Revising programs as needed based on engineering or production required changes.
  • Other similar or related duties as required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Citizen A20, L20 or M32 machines a plus.
  • Dual spindle lathe and 5 axis milling experience a plus.
  • ESPRIT programming software experience a plus.

Compensation

  • $60,000 - $90,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
