About the role
- The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for the adherence of processes and procedures to the Gelest Quality System by gathering and reviewing data and handling special projects.
- In addition, the Quality Assurance Technician will work closely with multiple departments within Gelest to aid in continuous improvement projects.
- Additional Company Information - The salary range for this position is $24-$34 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ISO compliance for certification as well as interpreting standards and apply them to the quality system.
- Perform statistical and mathematical data collection related to continuous improvement projects.
- Support ERP maintenance.
- Write Quality Documents and support testing related to customer feedback.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering discipline preferred.
- Training in Quality Management, Production processes, data collection and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to write reports, conduct audits and author material safety data sheets.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Follow safety procedures and set an appropriate example for others.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, or related software.
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $24-$34 per hour.
