About the role
- RR Donnelley is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic 2 to join the Iowa City, IA location on 2nd shift!

- The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing highly diversified duties related to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of specialized forms and labels machinery.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates must be able to work afternoon and evening hours.
Nice to have
- Make recommendations on repair strategies and priorities.
- Assist Operators with minor maintenance issues to consistently obtain the standard operating efficiency of the system and minimize safety, quality, and downtime risks.
- Conduct rebuilds on equipment.
- Identify and evaluate improvement activities resulting in quantifiable increased results.
- Train other technicians and assist Level 3 Maintenance Technicians (to include implementation of upgrades).
- Assist with facilities maintenance and other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation
- $22k-$26k
