About the role
- Your Impact In this role, you will execute end-to-end system validation across hardware, firmware, and software stacks, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and reliability under real-world and stress conditions.
Responsibilities
- You will define and execute system-level validation strategies for complex networking platforms, develop automated test frameworks, and build scalable validation environments.
- Additionally, you will design and execute tests for throughput, latency, and scale limits, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system-level risks and resolve issues efficiently.
- Hands-on experience developing and executing functional, stress, regression, and system-level test plans, including the ability to analyze test results, identify failure patterns, and independently resolve assigned issues.
Requirements
- Experience with bench debug using oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, power supplies, or similar lab equipment, and system-level root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, software, and test infrastructure.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting/programming languages for test automation, log analysis, and data processing, along with experience using Linux-based systems and diagnostic/debug tools.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
Nice to have
- Experience with ASIC bring-up, post-silicon validation, platform validation, or Product/Test Engineering, including production test, NPI, yield/failure analysis, or sustaining support.
- Experience with bench characterization, margin testing, and high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, and SerDes.
- Experience with network test tools or traffic generators such as Ixia or Spirent, and familiarity with interfaces/debug protocols such as JTAG, I2C, SPI, UART, or MDIO.
- Experience with test-data analysis using Python/pandas, JMP, SQL, or similar tools.

Compensation
- The starting salary range posted for this position is $155,000.00 to $222,600.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benef
