Responsibilities

  • Manage the attendance call-in line, recording absences and updating timesheets appropriately, escalating attendance infractions to HR team for further action
  • Maintain the HRIS on a regular basis by carefully reviewing and processing entries and employee changes
  • Maintain various systems to enter new employees and archive inactive employees
  • Create and post company and position updates throughout the plant
  • Provide onboarding support to Sr. HR Coordinator including scheduling pre-employment appointments, sending background check requests, sending first day emails, and assisting candidates with challenges
  • Maintain and update the company intranet with important updates and changes
  • Manage the lobby area including greeting new hires, candidates, applicants, visitors, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to other department functions within the manufacturing plant as needed
  • The HR Admin is responsible for providing general clerical and administrative support for the HR function at the plant.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, be resourceful, proactive along with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Proven agility mindset and is comfortable adapting to, navigating, and embracing change
  • Required Experience:
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable interacting with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
  • Demonstrate collaborative and customer service mindset
  • Ability to handle and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity regarding employee information

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • 1+ year experience working in HR or other administrative function
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • The base salary range is $16.00hr - $19.00hr, plus bonus potential.
  • Act as a resource to employees throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to termination; provide assistance and direction on HR programs, benefits, payroll, policies, resources and procedures
  • Required Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
