About the role
- Responsible for performing work within the Advanced Development team and collaborating with cross-functional team members in scientific affairs, product development, marketing, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing.
- Contributes to the development of technology roadmaps; provides technical leadership for software elements
Responsibilities
- Proficient in C/C++ and object oriented design (OOD)
Requirements

- 5+ years of experience of hands on design and development experience
- Experience with real time operating systems (e.g., Green Hills Integrity, Mentor Graphics Nucleus, QNX, Micrium) required
- Experience with device driver development desired
- Experience with application development for both real-time and non-real time applications (e.g., Windows, Linux, iOS) required
- Experience with web technologies (database, REST, HTML 5, JavaScript) desired
- Experience with test automation and test development for automation (e.g., Google Test, Jenkins) desired
- Experience with user interface development and technologies (e.g., Qt, Crank, Peg) desired
Nice to have
- Contributes to the development of technology roadmaps
- provides technical leadership for software elements
- Contributes to software integration activities for algorithms and/or technology software into device software and hardware subsystems
- Stays current with software engineering trends and technologies through activities such as self-study, attending webinars, seminars, user group meetings and conferences
- Follows and improves standard operating procedures and software engineering best practices
- BS degree required or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related engineering or science discipline

Compensation
- $116,600.00 to $135,000.00
- This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan.
- Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- For fully remote positions, compensation will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local wage laws, including minimum wage requirements, based on the employee's primary work location.
