About the role
- This is an ideal role for a candidate with strong instructional knowledge, organizational skills, and a love of children and teaching.
- Administer reading and math assessments accurately and efficiently to monitor student progress.
- Analyze assessment data and prepare clear reports to guide instructional decisions and communicate outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver academic support focused on reading and math tailored to students' individual needs.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, parents, volunteers, and staff.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Communicate effectively with the afterschool team, students, families, and school staff, to support student success.
- Support implementation of balanced literacy strategies and assessments.
Requirements
- Must be able to sit, walk, and carry/lift items up to 30 lbs.
