About the role
- We are currently seeking a motivated General Apprentice to join our growing team.
- We are a performance-driven and safety-minded "Commercial Hardscape Contractor'', committed to completing projects on time and, often, ahead of schedule.
- Our clients include; Universities, Municipalities, NCDOT, and Commercial entities throughout NC, SC, VA, TN, GA, and FL.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of various Collegiate/Commercial elements such as terraces, streetscapes, retaining walls, masonry, concrete sidewalks/driveways, and different commercial building items
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.)
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work out of town, overtime, or weekends, if necessary.
- Attend training events and company meetings as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in hardscape/concrete installation is a plus but not required
