About the role
- The Medical Scribe plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of patient care at TECP.
- This is a non-clinical position, and the Medical Scribe will not engage in any type of direct patient care.
- This position is ideal for individuals pursuing healthcare careers who are looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced emergency department.
Nice to have
- Utilize templates and dot phrases effectively to ensure chart and billing accuracy
- Record diagnosis, discharge, prescriptions, and/or follow-up instructions
- Verify all notes with assigned physician or APP
- $20.00 per hour, non-exempt
- Sick time accrual of 1 hour per 40 hours worked
- Ten 8-hour shifts per month
- Day, night, and weekend shifts required
- TECP currently staffs five of MultiCare's campuses
