About the role

  • The Quality Specialist ensures adherence to quality systems, laboratory procedures, and regulatory requirements within a quality laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal quality audit programs by scheduling audits, training auditors, ensuring compliance, and driving timely corrective action closure.
  • Manage quality laboratory workflows, including execution of analytical testing, equipment calibration, maintenance, and finished goods release.
  • Maintain and administer quality systems, documentation, and records using tools such as IFS and Qualtrax
  • Partner cross-functionally to support investigations, customer complaints, inventory optimization, new product support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • The position serves as a key technical resource across quality, operations, R&D, and customer-facing functions to maintain compliance and product integrity.
  • This role leads internal audit activities, supports analytical testing operations, and drives corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory analytical operations or quality laboratory environments.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, audits, documentation control, and corrective action processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading internal ISO or similar quality system audits.
  • Proficiency with quality and documentation systems such as IFS, Qualtrax, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience supporting customer audits, regulatory compliance, or certification requirements (e.g., NSF).
  • Background working in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial laboratory environments.
