About the role
- The OR Analyst will conduct analyses of expeditionary medical systems and assist in the development of modeling and simulation tools for performing such analysis.
Responsibilities
- The OR Analyst will also perform analyses for NHRC and other organizations within the Department of Defense.
Requirements
- Proficiency with relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g. Python and/or R).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, Data Science or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years preferred.
- Preferred Skills and Experience:
Skills
- Familiarity or experience with machine learning algorithms.
- Education or experience using commercial or open-source optimization software (e.g. GAMS, CPLEX, Pyomo, etc.).
- Knowledge of software development concepts.
- Experience with software quality assurance.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience working within the Department of Defense.
- Experience working within the Military Health System.
