About the role
- The Senior Salesforce Engineering Manager provides both technical and people leadership, ensuring Salesforce platforms are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Salesforce engineers, developers, administrators, and technical leads.
- Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support career development for team members.
- Manage team capacity, resource planning, hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Oversee the design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, and support of Salesforce solutions.
- Partner with business and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Provide technical direction and decision-making for Salesforce platform design and engineering.

- Experience managing vendor or implementation partner relationships.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development, application engineering, or enterprise technology delivery.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or management role, leading development teams or technical programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience managing or leading Salesforce engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, configuration, customization, integrations, security model, data model, and release management.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs, SOQL, Salesforce DevOps, and integration patterns.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadership.
- Experience managing competing priorities, project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
Nice to have
- Salesforce certifications such as (or equivalent to):
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
- Salesforce Certified System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant or Sales Cloud Consultant
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
Compensation
- $205,000 - $230,000 USD
