Manage, train, and motivate a new Operations team, overseeing the entire Receiving, Research, Encapsulation, Quality Control or Shipping/Logistics function.
Own daily production metrics for the department.
Identify and develop new operational metrics as needs arise.
Effectively problem solve issues that arise within the department, and implement solutions & improvements to keep error percentage to a minimum.
Develop staff skills and create a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
Maintain a safe work environment and serve as the first point of contact for incidents, injuries, and/or safety concerns.
Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance and security

2+ years of experience supervising an operations team, preferably within Receiving, Shipping, Logistics, Quality Control, or Manufacturing environments
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to understand and relay company policies and procedures.

The salary range for this position is $93,000-$105,000 CAD. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
