The Manager supports the Senior Director in accounting analysis, policy development, audit coordination, and stakeholder communications, while driving continuous improvement in financial reporting processes and controls.

Compensation

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in IMCO's annual incentive plan.

Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting for IMCO Corporate and annual audited financial statements for IMCO investment pool funds, including performing accounting analysis to support key judgments, estimates, and disclosures.
Perform detailed accounting analysis on complex transactions, new standards, and emerging issues, and document clear conclusions and recommendations.
Support the Finance and Audit Committee preparation process, including drafting, reviewing, and coordinating materials.
Act as the lead Finance partner to the Sustainable Investing team to support the preparation and oversight of sustainable investing disclosures.
Prepare investment legal entity financial statements and related supplemental financial information, as required.
Develop, update, and interpret accounting policies in accordance with IFRS, including assessing the impact of new or amended accounting standards.
Liaise with external auditors to coordinate and support corporate, pool fund, and legal entity audits, including addressing technical accounting matters.
Provide oversight and controls over financial disclosures related to IMCO's annual report, including sustainability disclosures and AUM reconciliation, while working with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment across the organization.
Support the Accounting Operations team in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of month‑end and year‑end processes, including accruals and reconciliations, and assist with related procedures as required.
Partner with the Enterprise Portfolio Management team to provide financial support on strategic initiatives.
Ensure appropriate working papers, process documentation, and control evidence are maintained to support financial reporting, audits, and governance requirements.
Participate in special projects and cross‑functional initiatives as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation required; CFA considered an asset.
